Just a quick post for Siena with some of my favorite pics. Absolutely adored this city! Larger than any of the other towns we had visited being that it was an actual city, but it was still very quaint (and therefore right up my alley) with stunning medieval architecture and what seemed like endlessly winding streets. This would be an ideal city to just “get lost” in. What separated Siena from the other towns we had visited were it’s main attractions. The Torre del Mangia and the Piazza del Campo, which lies beneath it, were magnificent. The view from the top of the tower was not only worth the 10 euro, but also the leg pain, the boob sweat and the claustrophobia. I’ll let those pictures speak for themselves. We also visited the Duomo di Siena, although we didn’t go inside. Stopped at Bar Manganelli in the Piazza del Campo for lunch and Brivido Gelateria for gelato (lunch was great, but the gelato was definitely more pleasing to the eye than the palate…. just saying.)
- Check out this street art!!

Can’t blame me for wanting to try it, right?
