Flower Power

I cannot stop raving about how beautiful this weekend was. FINALLY. Even though this winter has been relatively mild, I’m ready to welcome warm temperatures with open arms! (And say goodbye to the snow, ugh)

It was so nice to ditch my heavy down jacket for ripped jeans and a tunic. I was so excited when I first bought this hippy-esque H&M top, yet I’ve only worn it once! I thought that the light, sheer material, and the fun flower pattern made it a nice sunny day piece, so I finally took it off the hanger. It’s super girly, which isn’t necessarily my style, but I love the mix of colors and the big slits. I feel like I should totes be wearing a flower crown or something, lol! Similar here and here.

I paired my flower child top with destroyed boyfriend jeans and my new chunky Zara boots, which I seriously cannot get enough of! I’m currently loving chunky ankle boots and combat boots. The burgundy might not necessarily go with everything in my closet, but they’re a subtle statement boot. I’m a big fan of the contrast with both the black heel and elastic details on the sides. It was a nightmare trying to get them, though! They’re sold out in my size online so I had to try four different Zaras in the city before finally snagging a pair (they kept sending me to different stores because they couldn’t get their inventory straight, lolz). Check them out here. I also wore them with a simple, graphic retro band tee earlier that weekend!
