Kimono-a-go go

I love a good boho-chic vibe, and that’s exactly what I get whenever I set eyes on my Romwe kimono! From the pattern, to the embroidery, it totally embodies a fun indie vibe!

I got this a few weeks ago, but with the totally unreliable winter weather, it’s been impossible to work into my wardrobe. Luckily, my prayers were answered last weekend and it was actually warm enough in NYC to whip it out unaccompanied by a massive down coat. Hooray for not having to wait until next spring!! (But really: doesn’t this indicate something’s seriously wrong with the environment and climate….? 60 degrees and sunny AFTER THANKSGIVING? I digress…)

I paired the kimono, a pair of destroyed Zara boyfriend jeans, and my favorite perspex booties together for this look. The boots are a total killer (literally and figuratively.) They’re so fun, slightly painful (pain is beauty, right), and are always a total hit whenever I wear them. I thought they were a fun way to jazz up the casual look!
