Gingham Style

Does anyone else think of the word “Gangnam”, as in the song “Gangnam Style” by Psy, anytime they see the word “gingham”? Nope, just me. I thought so.

I’ve never been a huge fan of patterns, but I’m loving the gingham trend for spring! Zara has some AMAZING gingham pieces out right now (planning to do some damage there soon, plz don’t tell my wallet), but it was this Missguided dress that really got my attention! It’s super light weight, so it’s perfect for the warm weather ahead. The tie around the waist is my favorite part, though! I think the tie and the sleeves make the dress a little more unique. I wore it last weekend with my new black chunky heels, but I’m definitely going to throw it on with some sneakers, since that’s my go-to shoe situation! This is definitely one of the shorter dresses I own, since I tend to gravitate towards midi and maxi dresses, so I’m really excited to get it into the wardrobe rotation!
