Ben and I ended up saying so long to summer at Pinks in the East Village. Neither of us had ever been, but I think it’s safe to say we’ll be back. The ambiance is super cool: there’s a laid back, grungy-rock, somewhat industrial theme going on. Make sure you check out the pictures below. There’s a really cool car grille above the tap, and all of the beer tap handles are gear shifts topped with pool balls. Aside from the space, Pinks has great beer and food (and lots of daily deals). It’s all Mexican, so naturally I was in my glory. It’s very unlike me to forego pictures of the food (we got beef tacos), but you’ll just have to trust me when I say you should check it out if you’re in the area. Side note: it’s super tiny, but I think that makes the atmosphere even cooler.
